Terms of service
PrizeTakeover Competitions operates skill-based prize competitions in accordance with UK law.
Entry requires the successful completion of a skill-based question to ensure the competition is not classified as gambling. The skill question must be answered correctly before an entry can be completed.
Eligibility:
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over
• UK residents only
• Employees and immediate family are excluded
Entries:
• Entries are allocated automatically upon successful completion of the entry process, including the correct answer to the required skill-based question
• Entry limits may apply per competition
• All sales are final once confirmed
Free Postal Entry Route
A free entry method is available for each competition operated by PrizeTakeover Competitions Ltd.
To enter for free, participants must send their entry by post to:

Entries must be sent via First Class or Second Class post.
Each postal entry must:
• Be submitted in a separate envelope
• Include the entrant’s full name
• Include a valid email address
• Include a contact telephone number
• Clearly state the name of the competition being entered
• Include the correct answer to the required skill-based question
Only one entry is permitted per envelope. Bulk entries, mechanically reproduced entries, or multiple entries within a single envelope will not be accepted.
Postal entries must be received before the published closing date and time of the relevant competition. Proof of posting does not constitute proof of receipt.
Free postal entries will be processed and entered into the competition in the same manner as paid entries. All valid entries have an equal chance of winning. No live randomisation or manipulation of outcomes occurs after entry.
Incomplete, illegible, or non-compliant entries may be deemed invalid.
Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, unless otherwise stated.
The availability of a free entry route ensures that participation in competitions does not require payment and is therefore not considered an unlawful lottery under applicable UK law.
Draw Process:
• Winners are determined based on pre-allocated outcomes assigned to entries at the point of participation. The process is transparent and consistent across all entries
• Draws may be recorded or streamed
• Results are final
Prize Delivery:
Cash prizes are transferred securely within 7 business days of winner verification.
PrizeTakeover reserves the right to cancel or amend competitions where necessary for operational or legal reasons.
By entering, participants agree to these terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Regulatory Position
PrizeTakeover Competitions operates as a skill-based competition platform and does not constitute gambling under applicable UK law.
All competitions are structured to comply with the requirements of the Gambling Act 2005 in relation to skill-based competitions.
